Years 5 and 6 dodgeball tournament – Thursday 6th February
Irchester came third and fifth in their dodgeball tournament at Wollaston School. Both teams showed excellent sportsmanship and were very impressive to watch. Some of the throws, catches and dodges were outstanding! Well done all!
Year 4 trip to Buddhist Temple – Thursday 6th February
Year 4 visited the Wat Pa Buddharam Buddhist temple, where they listened to a Buddhist monk speak about Buddhism and then they took part in a guided meditation follow by a meditation walk.
Year 1 Mental Health Week – Monday 3rd to Friday 7th February
Year 1 did some mindful colouring whilst listening to classical music. They practised Rainbow Breathing after lunch and during PE completed a relaxing mindful yoga session.
Year 5 performance of The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse – Wednesday 11th December
Year 5 pupils wowed the audience at their performance of The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse. They were word perfect, the singing was superb and the dance was fantastic. They had many of the audience in tears with their emotive acting – well done Year 5!
