Clubs at our school
Irchester Community Primary School offers before and after-school clubs that teach physical skills such as dance, football, and basketball, as well as academic skills like keyboards, singing, literacy and numeracy and ICT, art and science, most of which are free.
We believe that clubs have an important role to play in enriching the curriculum. Being at school is not just about what you do between 9am and 3.15pm, it’s about acquiring the skills to go into society.
We also provide a Wraparound Care offer which is available daily until 5:30pm.
Not only are these school clubs fun, but they also help boost children’s self-esteem and self-confidence. Happy, self-confident children are motivated and can achieve more and by offering school activities our children get the chance to succeed in different areas and then they can take that success and use it to overcome barriers in the subjects they find difficult.
For further details on the clubs available, please call into the School Office and speak to Leanne Thomson, our Clubs Administrator. Please note, some clubs do have limited spaces.
Please note that if your child is currently attending a club, this does not give them an automatic place for the next term.
Should you have any queries, please do not hesitate to the school office
